GF moves its headquarters to its most advanced semiconductor manufacturing facility in New York

GlobalFoundries (GF), the world's leading special process semiconductor company, announced today that with the company's development positioning, continuously strengthening customer partnerships and recruitment of new talents, the company has decided to move its headquarters to Malta, New York, which is the most advanced The location of the semiconductor manufacturing plant Fab8. In the past ten years, GF has invested more than US$15 billion in the Fab 8 plant to support innovation and manufacturing capacity development. GF has more than 15,000 employees worldwide, 7,000 employees across the United States, and nearly 3,000 employees at the Fab 8 plant in Malta, New York. In 2020, GF announced a land purchase option to provide additional flexibility to expand the footprint of Fab8 to support the growing needs of the US government and industry customers.
