Chinese company patent rankings released: Ziguang ranks second in the number of authorized semiconductor invention patents

Recently, the intellectual property industry media IPRdaily and the patent search and analysis company Hexiang Zhiquan jointly released the "Top 50 Chinese Enterprise Patent Authorization Volume and Invention Patent Authorization Volume in the First Three Quarters of 2020". In the semiconductor field of this list, Unisplendour Group's patent authorizations and invention patent authorizations in the first three quarters of 2020 rank among the top three in China. Among the top 50 Chinese companies on the list, Ziguang Group is also one of only 5 companies that have more than 90% of the total authorized amount of invention patents.
The list provides a statistical analysis of the number of patent authorizations and invention patent authorizations announced by Chinese companies in the State Intellectual Property Office in the first three quarters of 2020. From the perspective of the number of invention patents granted by the top 50 Chinese companies on the list, there are 5 companies with invention patent authorizations accounting for more than 90% of the total authorized amount. They are Tianma Microelectronics, SMIC, Nubia, and China. Tang Telecom, Ziguang Group. The companies in the ranking of patent authorizations are mainly concentrated in the Internet, communications, household appliances, semiconductors, automobiles, and energy.
In the field of Chinese semiconductors, BOE, Goertek, and Ziguang Group ranked the top three companies in the number of patent authorizations in the first three quarters of 2020; BOE ranked first in the number of invention patent authorizations in the first three quarters of 2020, and Ziguang ranked second. Group, Tianma Microelectronics ranked third.
In the first three quarters of 2020, in the key core technology field of semiconductor integrated circuits, Ziguang Group has made a number of major achievements:
Its subsidiary Unigroup Zhanrui released the world's first new-generation 5G SoC mobile platform Huben T7520 using 6-nanometer EUV process technology;
Its subsidiary YMTC released the industry's first 128-layer QLC three-dimensional flash memory, which has the highest storage density per unit area, the highest I/O transmission speed and the highest single NAND flash memory chip capacity among the known models in the industry, and it was released and started in September. Launched its own brand "Zitai" series flash memory;
New H3C Semiconductor released its first high-end router chip and announced that it will release the world's leading routing switch 400G chip in the near future;
The security chip THD89 of Unigroup China Microelectronics has obtained the world's highest security level certification, the international SOGIS CC EAL6+, and is the first security chip in China to obtain this certification.
